Can I register on the day of the event? All of our shooters must register in advance of the Clay Shoot event so that we can make plans for the proper amount of food, T-shirts, and other items needed for the event. If we have any cancellations or “no-shows”, we may allow a last-minute shooter or two, but there are NO GUARANTEES that we can accommodate you or that you will be able to participate.
Am I required to wear EYES & EARS protection at the Clay Shoot & is it provided? YES! All shooters are required to wear both eyes and ears protection while on the range. Eyes & ears protection is NOT provided at the Clay Shoot event and should be bought by each shooter for compliance.
I don’t own a gun. Can I still participate? YES! Only ONE gun is required per team. So if your team members are willing to share the use of their gun(s), this is perfectly fine. ALSO – Tampa Bay Sporting Clays (TBSC) has a limited number of shotguns for rent on the day of the event. Call them at 813-929-6200 with any questions ahead of the Shoot. To rent a TBSC gun you must be 21 years old or older, provide a valid driver’s license, and complete their Gun Rental Agreement Form (found HERE).
Are all shooters required to sign a waiver to participate in the Clay Shoot? Yes! HERE is the waiver that will require completion on the day of the event. The waiver will be completed by each shooter during registration prior to participation.
